Meet Emma, Our Managing Director
For a change, I thought I would do a post about me, let me introduce myself.. I'm Emma, and I am the managing director of Wrekin Water Filtration Limited?. Hi 👋 lovely to meet you.
You have probably spoken to me on the phone when calling our office, or received an email from me in response to your enquiry.
I thought I would do a post so that you can put a face to the voice on the phone or to my email reply.
Not a great photo, I know, but it's the best I have for now.
In this day and age, especially with online businesses such as ours, most of our communication with you is done via a phone call or email and it's easy to forget that the person on end of the phone or reading your email is actually a person.
So the idea of this post, is to make our business more personal for you. So you can see that I too, am human and not an automated machine 🥰
I have been apart of Wrekin Water for 14 years. Yes that's right, 14 years!! Those years have just flown by. I joined Wrekin Water way back in January 2010.
Not only have I gained extensive knowledge about our products and other branded products too, I've gained a lot of technical experience and knowledge from being within the water industry but also experience on running a business in general too.
My main role is to oversee the running of our business day to day. I am based in the office 4 days a week answering enquiries and phone calls alongside Gemma, but I also meet with some of our suppliers, the teams we sponsor and local customers too.
A little about me personally - because sometimes it's nice to know a little something about the person or company you are dealing with - about me rather than just my professional skills,
So here goes.
Not only am I the managing director for our wonderful little family company, I am also a mum and a fianc?e.
I am the chair for our local primary school committee. (I know! busy lady right! I love it!)
I love spending time with my family, walking, going to fit steps (Shout out to Tracey), socializing with friends, I love a quiz, watching films, and reading books?. And researching new water treatment products that come on to the market (obvs)
There is always something new in this industry, either a new product or new developments arising, so I try to make sure I am up to date with the latest water news and trends to answer any questions you may have. There is a lot of false information on the internet so I do extensive research to ensure we can put our customers minds at ease when something worrying arises in the news.
Wrekin Water is not just me though.. I have an amazing team aka The Wrekin Water Dream Team. You may have spoken to Gemma or Craig on the phone, and if you are collecting an order (by appointment only as we don't have a trade counter) you may have also spoken with Josh.
We may be a small team but we are a fantastic one. We are here to help you with all your water treatment requirements. Our office is open 9am to 4pm Monday to Friday. There is an answerphone if we are unable to take your call or if you call out of hours, and the contact us form on our website it accessible 24/7 - we reply to voicemails, emails and enquiries during office open hours.
